Across vast landscapes, they set their gaze, Exploiting resources in poisonous ways. Like parasites, they drained our land, Leaving scars and wounds, hard to withstand. They called it conquest, a civilized mission, But it was cultural genocide, no admission. Our heritage trampled, traditions erased, Rewriting history, leaving us displaced. They seized our languages, silenced our voice, Their superiority, twisted a choice. They trashed our values, they called it progress, But it was devastation, leaving hearts oppressed. Draining my motherland, they did without remorse, Deceiving us with promises, a hollow force. They profited from our sweat and tears, While we suffered, swallowed in fears. Our art and craftsmanship, they stole away, Displaying them in museums, a cruel display. ...
